Core Network Engineer

  • Job Context


    8+ years’ experience in telecom equipment vendor hands-on      experience in voice solution design, deployment, service migration and      maintenance.

    Excellent knowledge of Core Network system including IMS, CS and      NGN.

    Thorough knowledge of VoBB service, VoLTE service, CS/NGN service,      interfaces, protocols, etc.

    Very good knowledge of NFV/CloudOS/VNFM/IP.

    Strong sense of integrity, responsibility and initiative.

    Self-organized, able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks      efficiently.

     

  • Job Responsibility


    Mobile or fixed core network voice solution delivery, including      service delivery solution preparation in pre-sale phase, HLD/LLD design, software commissioning, integration, acceptance testing, software upgrade, service migration and maintenance.

    Act as the voice solution team leader in the project delivery team, manage a technical team of 2 ~ 3 engineers.

    Monitor and manage project progress, reporting to management team      with progress and issues. Ensure completion of projects within timeline      and scope of work.

    Lead the technical workshop with customers, including planning      team, operation team.

    Share knowledge to team and provide technical assistance to them.

    Act as the mentor of new employees.

     

  • Educational Requirement

    Preferably B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar discipline.

  • Experience Requirement

    At least 5 year(s)
